What kind of pudding would you use to make the cake moist? vanilla, chocolate??

Thank you all for so many responses, it's just if I try the pudding tip, I would like to know what kind

  1. Well, I'm guessing that it depends on the type of cake it is. Another tip for a moist cake is to use sour cream. It makes it really rich.
  2. I would use what ever tasted better to you. Your eating the cake. Your taste buds do what you think is good. Me I think I would use vanilla for a vanilla cake and choco for a choco cake but that is just me
  3. chocolate cake = chocolate pudding, white/vanilla cake = vanilla pudding
  4. Vanilla!!!!!!!!!!!! Chocolate is sososososososososo nasty!
  5. I've only ever used vanilla.
  6. Butterscotch pudding, but only if your making a rum cake

    Substitute 1/2 cup rum for part of the water used for the cake.
