If you had to choose between apple pie or german chocolate cake for a dinner party, which one would you choose

23. Ir depends what kind of pie will be served. A nice cherry or cream pie will work well. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone likes chocolate, even though it is more scrumptious for a dinner party. So, I say pie. Maybe even a cheesecake with chocolate swirls in it. Yum. That is a good way to get two things in one. :o)

26. If it is a dinner party and there are various persons attending, I would definitely get both. Not everyone has the same likes but,... your party would be greatly talked about if the hostess caters to her guests dessert cravings.

27. I WOULD PERSONA LY CHOOSE GERMAN CHOCOLATE BECAUSE AT A DINNER PARTY THE FOOD IS REALLY CASUAL AND THE APPLE PIE WOULD JUST BE LIKE A SUNDAY DINNER.
28. German chocolate cake is GREAT.......and I don't know enough about whether you can get any REALLY good apples for pies this early..........they'd probably be either foreign or last year's crop.
    
    But the coconut in German chocolate cake isn't for everyone.
    
    
    Good apples.........do a pie. And if you do the cake don't make it toooooooo syrupy-sweet with two much icing. Use really good quality chocolate, too.....like Droste.

    I think that the apple pie would be safer as far as more people liking it and being able to eat it.
