Chocolate layer/bundt cake recipes. Who has the best one? I'm looking for a good chocolate recipe. It can be a 2 layer cake or a bundt cake. All the "real" recipes I've seen for them have self-rising flour or distilled white vinegar, both of which I don't have. I say real because on allrecipes.com people get away with posting recipes that use ready made cake, brownie or pudding mixes. If you're going to bake, at least go the whole 9 yards... I'll be making the frosting myself, I've got an excellent recipe for that. Thanks in advance :-) Caitlin...."real" recipes. No boxed stuff. I buy and make those when I'm feeling lazy...

Quick! have a question about baking w/bundt cake mold pan- does it take longer than using 2 round pans?? i'm making a cake right now and usually i use to round pans- but decided to try out this one where it puts the whole in middle- i guess called the bundt cake pan. welll i for the two round pans it takes 35 mins. i checked it at 30 and it not even close to being done- is it just b/c of the pan mold i have it in. or did i do something horribly wrong? did i need to change the recipe or something?? i followed the directions to the T. oh and by the way its the perfectly chocolate cake recipe that comes on the back of hershey's cocoa- my friends mom made ooh soo good- too late to call her though!!
