Cake like chocolate chip cookies?? I already asked for this kind of recipe once but haven't gotten the recipe I'm looking for. I did make cookies with a cake mix but they were not " cake like". The cookie recipe I am looking for would be very light and fluffy, kind of like mini cupcakes but cookies. They are very soft and use mini choc chips. Any ideas???? I am guessing that they would have to be mixed with a mixer like a cake is and are probably really easy to make, like throw all the ingredients in a bowl and mix. I have a recipe for chocolate cookies that have the texture I am looking for and i thought about just omitting the chocolate but I'm afaid they will be really dry and not form correctly. I would prefer recipes that have been previously tried!! THANKS!!!
Recipe for a chocolate chip cookie cake...? I'm looking to make one of these for my daughter's birthday. Could I just follow a traditional chocolate chip cookie recipe and just bake it all at once, or do I need a special recipe. If I had to guess I'd say I'd need a specialized recipe due to the large amount that I'd have to bake. I searched the internet for one but all I turned up for numerous cookie recipes. Thanks in advance to everyone.
How can I add chocolate chips to a box cake mix without them sinking to the bottom of the cake when I bake it? My very picky boyfriend wants a chocolate chip cake for his birthday and I could not find one that is sold in a box at the store. I dont have a lot of the ingredients or the bakeware needed to make a lot of these recipies online so I was hoping to just add chips to a white cake mix. I actually did it once, though, and all of the chips sunk to the bottom in the oven. How can I prevent this from happening? Use smaller chips? Chop the chips? Tell him to hire Betty Crocker next year?? I need this by Jan 26th. Thanks!!!
White cake with chocolate chips? I'm looking to make a dense white cake with chocolate chips for my daughter's birthday. Does anyone know of a good recipe? I'd like it to be similiar to a wedding cake....sort of a dense but not dry pound cake with the chips going throughout. Any help is much appreciated. I've tried to search using "white cake with chocolate chips" & wedding cakes with not much luck.
When I make homemade baked goods (i.e. chocolate chip cookies and carrot cake), it tastes like raw flour!? ^^ My problem is stated the title. :'-( I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I follow the recipe exactly as directed, and I'm a VERY good baker (no professional schooling though, just trial and error & finding my own little tricks along the way), which makes me think that it might be the recipe itself, and not my fault. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to make things taste like FOOD and not raw flour? There'll be 10 points for best answer it in for ya! Thanks so much!!! Love Always, Errands

I'm looking for a recipe from the Pillsbury German Chocolate Cake box a few years ago that made bars? I loved the recipe, but can't find it anywhere. You used the cake mix to make the bottom crust and then melted chocolate chips over it and then put the frosting and more chips on - but I don't remember the recipe exactly (temps, other ingredients, etc.) Can anyone help? It used to be on the side of the Pillsbury German Chocolate mix box. The recipe uses the German Chocolate mix, chocolate chips, coconut pecan frosting, and the basic cake mix ingredients - it's a simple recipe....I just can't remember the details of it enough to make it.

Cake flour or regular flour? I need a really quick answer! I am baking a cake for my sister-in-laws graduation. She saw a Chocolate Chip Cake on the cover of my Family Circle Magazine and wants me to make it. When I read through the recipe it said to use All Purpose Flour. I thought you use Cake Flour when baking a cake. I know that this magazine tests its recipes but I don't want the cake to turn out like a lead brick. Would you suggest that I use cake flour or just follow the exact recipe? I would like to thank you all for your help. Unfortunately I did follow the recipe and used the All Purpose Flour and the cake turned out way to heavy. My gut told me to use cake flour but I thought that Family Circle must have tested this recipe. I certainly will email Family Circle and let them know that they should retest that recipe! Thanks again for all of your input, it is greatly appreciated!
I am looking for a recipe for chocolate chip pizza...? I have been trying to find a recipe for chocolate chip pizza that uses a pizza crust with a cake consistancy batter with chocolate chips. I have been looking for a recipe for a chocolate chip pizza with a cake consistancy batter. I am not looking for a recipe for a big cookie. What I am looking for uses a pizza dough crust.
big fluffy chocolate chip cookies? I was at my friend's house and someone's mom brought over some chocolate chip cookies. They were the biggest, puffiest, fluffiest chocolate chip cookies I had ever seen or eaten. They were the best I've ever eaten. I started trying to replicate these and how no luck. I was wondering if any of you knew how to do this. Each cookie in the middle was probably about 1.5-2 inches tall. I've tried using more baking soda, using butter-flavored crisco, baking powder, and cake flour to make them bigger. None have worked. I've tried different combinations of these and had no success and haven't even come close. Any idea how to make these things big? I was thinking about trying self-rising flour or yeast next and seeing if that would work. Thank you It won't let me type a reply, so I have to answer this way. I'll try that recipe and see how it works out. Haha, yea, they were good. I asked for the recipe and "supposively" she uses the recipe on the Tollhouse package. She said that she lets the butter get to room temperature also. Tried that though. I was wondering if it could be the speed or amounting of mixing of the Crisco, eggs, and sugar. I use a manually turned mixer so I can't really get the stuff that fluffy.
