I'm looking for a recipe from the Pillsbury German Chocolate Cake box a few years ago that made bars? I loved the recipe, but can't find it anywhere. You used the cake mix to make the bottom crust and then melted chocolate chips over it and then put the frosting and more chips on - but I don't remember the recipe exactly (temps, other ingredients, etc.) Can anyone help? It used to be on the side of the Pillsbury German Chocolate mix box. The recipe uses the German Chocolate mix, chocolate chips, coconut pecan frosting, and the basic cake mix ingredients - it's a simple recipe....I just can't remember the details of it enough to make it.

I am looking for a special Chocolate Cheese Cake Recipe.? I got this recipe from a woman's magazine over 20 years ago and made it a lot but lost the recipe. The crust was made with chocolate wafer cookies. The cake part was made with eggs, cream cheese and yogurt and of course baking chocolate. Then after the cake was cooked and cooled you added a layer of melted chocolate mixed with cream I think. It was so good. But I got tired of making it and I was lax with the recipe. I am hoping someone else has the recipe. I've tried making it from baking knowledge which is just too limited and don't get the best results.

If you are adding melted chocolate to a plain cake batter, do you increase the measure of flour? And if it is unsweetened chocolate, do you adjust the sugar measure? What is the difference in the cake if you add chocolate powder or cooking chocolate (the tablets)? And.... why do some recipes specify using both the powder and the solid chocolate? Thank you very much! Well, if you are adding chocolate to half the batter to make a marble cake, you do not change the flour but the streaks of chocolate marble batter are different when it is baked ...
I'm trying to find light chocolate cake, one with a consistency like the cake used in Chinese restaurants. I want a really light, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake recipe. Not the icing, but actually the cake layer part. Some Chinese restaurants I have been to serve this cake that is very light and practically melts in your mouth. Does anyone know of a recipe like that? Help! I saw the recipe for the steamed cake, but I don't have the foggiest idea how I'd do that since I have the simplest of tools and a very tiny kitchen. Does anyone know of one that is baked in an oven instead of steamed? I don't think the steamed one will work for me at this moment in time.

I'm trying to duplicate a white chocolate raspberry cake from H.E.B, but I'm not sure about? one of the ingredients. It's a white layer cake with layers of raspberry jam and a soft cream-colored layer. I initially thought the cream-colored layer was cream cheese with powdered sugar, but I talked with the bakery folks in H.E.B. yesterday and they think it's a combination of white chocolate and vanilla pudding. It could even be white chocolate and cream cheese. They get it from an outside source already made and can't access a recipe. It is absolutely scrumptious and I'm going to figure it out, but it will probably be a lot of trial and error and I don't have much time. Is anyone familiar with this cake? Or can you help me figure out how to blend the melted white chocolate with either the pudding or cream cheese to get the consistency of a frosting, and the ratio of white chocolate to the other? I've never used white chocolate and have no idea how to work with it. Can anyone offer suggestions on all the above? If so, you'll have my undying gratitude!

How do I put edible 'blood' inside a cake?? It's going to be white chocolate ganache heavily tinted with red, but I'd just like suggestions on what to fill it in before I insert it into the cake. My current thought is to make a chocolate oval-shaped shell out of melted chocolate and then use an injector to fill it up once it's inside the cake. Any other ideas? I haven't tried this before!
